At least with all these storms we are still landing some great fish! Muskies love crazy weather and that’s one thing that we have had a lot of. Chris popped his and then his friend landed her fish 3 cast later. Nice job guys! Thanks again!

Dennis got this 49″ Muskie yesterday. He named her Lucy and let her go to be caught another day. I hope to see her again real soon! We also picked up a few Walleyes and some Crappie. The bite was a little slow but this fish sure made his day!
The Crappie bite has been great. The fish have been running 9 to 12 inches. Clear Lake has been very good this year. We have had some great walleye trips also. I’ve attached a few pictures from the trips over the last couple days. We even boated the 1st Muskie yesterday while fishing for Walleye. That a sweet bonus!!
The bite has been great! We have been dealing with some crazy weather but we are still making things happen. Limits of Walleye and some eater size Crappies have been hitting the livewells. Over the next couple weeks we have many weekday spots open and a couple weekend spots. Over the last few days the local DNR has been gill netting for Walleyes and Muskie on Clear Lake. The numbers this year are great and the quality of fish are very nice. We are going to have a great season on Clear Lake and I can’t wait for the water to warm up this weekend. These pictures are from last night 4-16/17-2014. This Muskie is just under 40lbs! My open water season starts tonight! These Walleye will be on the chew for a couple months so if your interested get your dates picked out and give me a call.

Today I spent my time guiding a great group of guys from Wisconsin and one thing I can say about some cheese heads is that they know how to fish. The bite was tough but they did a great job adapting to the situation. Dale AKA Bob did a very good job and out fished the young guns. Tomorrow I’ll be on the ice with the one and only Dave Genz. We will be searching for panfish on West O and Minnewasta. Then on Tuesday and Wed. we will be filming the next episode of Ice Team TV. and it only gets better from there. On Saturday I’ll be going to Rapid City S.D. to help take 50 kids fishing for the local boys club.

I’ve been fishing on and around Clear Lake and the fishing has been great. Lots of panfish are being caught and we still have lots of ice fishing left in this season. I’ll be off to Boji Monday night and won’t be home until Friday night. It sounds like the bite has been getting better and I’m looking forward to some better fishing over there. We do have some spots open over the next few weeks so if your looking for a fun bite give us a call.
